Farm girl after all?

First of all, these pics are all out of order and I can't figure out how to move them right now, but you'll get the idea none the less!

Running down the huge sand dune/mountain that we had climbed... trying not to go sprawling flat on my face! Hilariously fun and made me feel like I was 10 years old again!

Can you say "gorgeous?" The sunset at the farm in Vitor.

The owner of the hacienda with the pool was kind enough to let us us his giant outdoor grill... here we are grilling steaks with potatoes using beer and grapes for seasoning!

Pisco is the alcohol of choice and nature here... it's somehow made from grapes, but it's not wine. Again thanks to the kind people at the hacienda we were able to visit the vineard and pick our own grapes... the very grapes used to make this pisco that they gifted us a bottle of for free! They said "young people (there were about six of us) need to relax and enjoy life!"

Luis and I in the above mentioned beautiful vineards... after taking a dip in the amazing pool!

Here's the gang grilling out front of the Zenteno's house. Reynaldo is king of the grill as you can see!

It was so fun interacting with the field workers and kids... here's a bunch of kids haning out with us on the steps of Luis's house.

Here's where they used to make the pisco from the vineyards... and me playing around!

Always making new friends... I LOVE this horse and will hopefully get to ride her soon! The owner said I could, just have to wait for the ok from the ranchhand!

Remember the dream-like pool I told you about... completely private and GORGEOUS... here it is!

The pizza that I made for everyone... they LOVED it! This was before the s'mores... I think the s'mores won everyone over, but I have to say that pizza wasn't bad for using interesting ingredients and a 50 year old oven!

See the little white spec? That's me! I'm running along the tops of the sand dunes after the big climb... right before sunset... AMAZING!

The little pueblo or town... the big square hacienda on the left hand side of the photo is Luis's house...

Me with the great view!
