Just to brag a little bit...

Oh yes, there's an exhibit of how water swirls the opposite way on either side of the equator... way cool! (widely rumored to be a trick... but I couldn't see how)!

Let me just say that I am super fortunate. I have not only had a super helpful taxi driver who gifted me a CD of Ecuadorian music AND helped me lug my bags to the bus... and not only did I (after missing my little town stop on the bus by 45 min) accidentally sit by a REALLY nice guy who was getting off at the same stop (so I couldn't miss it this time) and also volunteered to yet again help me with my bags and help me find my hotel (since by this time it was dark)... BUT I have also gotten to stand one foot in the Northern hemisphere and at the same time one foot in the Southern hemisphere AND sauntered around South America'a largest handicraft market(plus the added bonus of a live animal market)... ALL IN THE LAST TWO DAYS!
I don't have a lot of energy or really even words to describe these events, after wandering the markets since 6am... so here are a few pics to let you in on the fun!

  1. Adam and I have been following you via Samantha Brown because we just watched her "Passport to Latin America" which included Cusco, Machu Picchu and Ecuador... I know where you've been!
