It is by one of the creators of Facebook (which no I still don't have) but it's all about "following" NGOs large and small and connecting people to causes... both financially and information-ally. It launched today and I wanted to spread the word. It's fascinating to me to think that it might 'catch on' for people to get more involved in what's going on with less fortunate people here and all over the world. I hope it works. Maybe these guys can/will use their power for good, not just evil! :)
Btw, you can't technically follow causes if you don't have a facebook account yet, but they promise that feature is coming shortly.
