Check out this link to find out what is going on in Cote d'Ivoire.

The small NGO that I'm working with Ivorian Hope is directly involved in the current situation after botched presidential elections. The borders are closed, three American University students are stuck there, no aid or outside help can get in and things are starting to get ugly... riots burning tires and the like in the capital city as both presidential candidates swore themselves into office yesterday! These people just came out of civil war in 2002 and it now looks as if conflict is around the corner yet again.
Please pray.
My friend and project manager at the NGO, Princess, has many family members that were not allowed to escape the country after Tuesday when the borders were closed.
My sister, Jessi, is one country away and the opposition presidential candidate in Ivory Coast is originally from Burkina Faso... hopefully this will not effect her placement there.
My plans to travel to Ivory Coast to help with micro-financing this summer may take a huge turn to helping with humanitarian aid and/or lead to a change of plans altogether.
Please pray for the people of Cote d'Ivoire!
