After more than 48 hours of continual travel, I'm in Milwaukee with my grams and mom & sister. Yea! Whew it was a long haul...
About an hour after we left Sydney there was a medical emergency and we ended up turning around and going all the way back to Sydney to let that man off and to refuel. It was a bummer to be back where we started three and a half hours after we left, but the redeeming factor was when the girl sitting next to me and I went up to talk to her dad in first class... he had mentioned that there was a famous 'basketballer' sitting up by him. It was Charles Barkley!!!! So we got to chat with him, he was actually really nice, and then got our picture with him! So cool!
Anyway, made my flight from LAX to Milwaukee and grams and mom found me right away. Woo hoo!
