Well, I made it! I took the recommended cab service since it was after 11pm and the driver did a great job locating my unmarked hostel. As I climbed to the 3rd floor, I realized not only was it hot and stuffy as hell, and there were no signs as to where to go, but it was dark...I mean really dark and there was the odd, old school candle each flight of stairs. As I walked into a dark, HOT space filled with people hanging out, it was explained to me that the power was out. No fans, no air in the rooms, and no wifi or check in until it came back... what's a girl to do?Go up to the rooftop terrace and get to know a bunch of cool people who were celebrating a Scottish guy's 31st birthday! Of course...haha. Also managed to meet an Aussie who is headed the same way as me today...yay for company figuring out the delhi metro and then train station! Agra and the Taj Mahal here I come!!!
Best thing about my $9 hostel? The shower!!!!!! Hallelujah!
