Another great day!

Sofia took me to the Docklands this morning and it was cool to see where all the ships come in and also, they're trying to renovate and make a tourist area out of it... we stopped in one store and both found something - perfect! Then it was off to Rialto Tower to see 360 degrees of Melbourne! It was so cool to see all the places that we had been from that high up and also, the river, the ocean, the mountains... everything looked so beautiful! We met Adam for lunch cause he had to work again, and we ate at one of his favorite places, this great restaurant called Nando's where they have the best chips (fries) ever! After that Sof had planned for us to go the immigration museum, which was perfect due to my experience at INA and my interest in this issue. I'm not a big museum go-er, but this museum was really neat and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about how Australia has come to be SO diverse in just the last 100 years. It was truly fascinating! We got to visit Cooke's cottage (which they moved here from England brick by brick), went back to the tower to see the city at night and Adam joined us, then we got to eat amazing crepes (mine was mango, ice cream, whipped cream... yummy), and then we went searching for Harry Potter... but it was all sold out, so I think we will make Sofia really happy and go tomorrow night!
Thanks for reading! :) I miss y'all!

  1. I love seeing these pictures! I am sitting at my desk at work pretending I am you, wishing I was there, and checking the status of my frequent flier miles.
