Sofia and Adam!!!!

Yea for good friends and fun times! I arrived at Sofia and Adam´s house in Melbourne around midnight last night... then I made my first few Skype calls and got to talk to my parents and grandma, so that was awesome! She cried and said it was a miracle to see my face! BUT, she also reprimanded me for not heeding her warning about staying safe and not doing anything too risky - I don´t think she approved of my bridge climbing! It was so fun though!
Today was amazing... I woke up to breakfast in bed! Sofia made wonderful french toast and brought it to me on my queen size mattress! LOVELY! Can´t get that kind of service in the hostels! She also has a wonderful schedule of each day and all the great things we can do and see ... I don´t have to do anything... just follow! GREAT! We saw a magnificent cathedral, the Yarra river, the Shrine of Remembrance, and even some alleys that are encouraged to be artistically covered in graffiti! That was really cool. Oh, and then we saw this fire show at the casino and it was intense... shooting fire balls off into the air! We also ate some great food today... I had my first Aussie burger. It was absolutely hugemongous and had bacon, beets, pineapple, fried egg and a bunch of other interesting things on it! And surprisingly it was REALLY good! We took the train into town and rode one of the trams and it was all so easy. It´s really great to see thier life here! The weather has really been cooperating for me and I´m so grateful! I´m going to try to post some pics tonight, so hopefully you can see what I´ve been up to!
