HARRY POTTER!!!!

Ok, so Sofia is officially a happy camper... we saw the new Harry Potter movie! It may have taken us four sold out theaters, a missed bus or two, and three days, BUT we were successful! What a great day just hanging out... I realized just how much I miss these two wonderful people! We had a lazy morning cause nobody had to work and I've been feeling a little under the weather so we slept in and then headed off to an area called Glen Waverly. Once again I was super impressed at Adam and Sof's improv ability when it comes to public transport... we missed our bus, but they figured out a different one to take to a train station that we could then take where we wanted to go and after sprinting to make the train it worked out seamlessly! We ate at Bob's Kitchen, which to your surprise and mine is a Chinese noodle and dumpling establishment that is mmm mmm good. Then it was off to the very large and stately movie theater where I thought Sofia was going to jump out of her own skin she was so pumped! After being encouraged to read a recap of the previous FIVE Harry Potter movies this morning, I had some kind of idea of what was going on and even enjoyed parts of it! I wouldn't say I'm a convert, but at least I've now been introduced... thanks to Sofia! We came home and continued our leisurely day by Adam making us a fabulous dinner of fish sticks and rice and Sofia's wonderful dessert of apricot pie with ice cream! All this while watching the movie Chocolat... how relaxing! I also got the chance to talk with their housemates Nada and Dave tonight too - they seem like really nice folks - good times getting to know each other!
As for tomorrow it's off to the BEACH! Woo Hoo! Not that it's warm enough to swim or anything, but it will still be beautiful!
