The other day when I didn't have time to post, I had a couple of wonderful experiences. Took a scenic train up to a small rain forest community and took a Sky Rail or Gondola for 7 km over the mountains back down!!!! It was pretty cool. Then I went to the Tjapukai (Aboriginal tribe) cultural center and got to learn a lot about the history of Australia and its people. I also got my face painted, learned how to play the didgeridoo, threw my first boomerang and spear, and got to see an awesome musical dance performance! It was a really good experience... and it rained, so it turned out for the best that I didn't stay at Cape Trib beach overnight! :)
Off to explore Darwin...
