Chocolate, Beer, and the Mysterious Disappearance of my Metro Card

Chocolate first because Sofia and Adam took me to the most amazing Chocolate Cafe called Max Brenner - ¨Chocolate by the Bald Man.¨ Everything we had was scrumdidiliumpsious... we started out with three variations of wonderful hot chocolate - mint, Italian thick, and Mexican. Then it was on the the ¨main course.¨ Sofia had a Giant Chocolate Cookie, Adam partook of a yummy souffle with melted fudge in the middle, and I had Waffles with strawberries, bananas, ice cream and CHOCOLATE sauce! SOOOOO good.
I also finally found an Aussie beer that I like thanks to Adam and our ¨date¨at the bar to watch footie, drink beer(Pure Blonde), and wait for Sofia. It was so fun learning the rules and catching onto the game that we´re going to go see today! I´ve decided it´s a mix between American football, rugby, soccer, hockey, etc. It´s absolutely intriguing to watch... they don´t wear any pads but seem to run into each other and the ground all the time. The game never stops... not even for injuries. Oh, and there are like 40 players on this giant field at any given moment! SO excited to see the game today!
And, the mysteriously misplaced metro card. So we went to beautiful Middle Brighton today and saw the wonderful beach, got incredibly windblown, and saw the cutest colorful shacks. Then after a nice lunch Sofia left for work and Adam and I were on to St. Kilda another beach community, BUT when I went to get on the bus I realized my metro card (already purchased for all transportation for the whole day) was missing! Somehow it found its way out of my back pocket and wasn´t put into my bag... it was GONE! After frantically looking through everything and feeling like an idiot I had to give in and just buy another full price ticket from the nice bus driver who was looking at me like I was insane by this point! The ticket was never to be found again... all three of us looked, dug, questioned, it was gone... dun dun dun! But, Adam was right, I probably would have been more upset if I would have found it, seeing as they´re only good for the one day - so I would have had two $10 tickets only good for the same day!
St. Kilda was beautiful. A funky strip of stores, an amusement park called Luna Park, and what else but the beautiful beaches that I´ve come to expect here in Australia! Oh, and we also got the treat of seeing tons of Kite Surfers and Wind Surfers yesterday... it looked cold, but like oh so much fun.... I wanna try! Someday...
